StayCore takes nothing from your bookings. The monthly plan is the whole fee; a few things that cost money each time they are used are passed on separately.
WhatsApp conversations
Meta charges for some WhatsApp conversations. With the WhatsApp Inbox add-on, those fees are passed on at cost.
SMS
When a WhatsApp message to a guest does not arrive, StayCore can send the important ones (confirmation, payment link) by SMS, charged per message.
Card and mobile money fees
Charged by your own payment gateway at the rate you agreed with them. StayCore adds nothing on top.
Questions about pricing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with 30 days free, with nothing to set up and no setup fee.
Do you take a commission on my bookings?
No. You pay the monthly plan and nothing per booking. Card and mobile money fees are charged by your own payment gateway, at the rate you agreed with them.
Who holds the money my guests pay?
You do. Payments go straight into your own merchant account (the card account your bank or payment provider gives you). StayCore never holds guest money and never stores card numbers.
Is it really free for tour operators?
Yes. An operator account on the Exchange costs nothing: search live availability, hold rooms and confirm bookings at the rates the lodge has agreed with you.
How much do I save by paying for a year?
Paying for a year takes 10% off the monthly price.
Are the prices with or without VAT?
All prices are a month, in Namibian dollars, excluding VAT.
Does it work when the internet is down?
Yes. StayCore installs as an app on your phone, tablet or computer and keeps working offline. Bookings, check-ins, cash and EFT payments and housekeeping are saved on the device and sent when the connection comes back.
What is the difference between iCal and live sync?
iCal is a calendar link that Airbnb, Booking.com and other sites read every so often. It is free in every plan, but it can run a few hours behind. Live sync is an add-on that sends rooms, rates and rules to the booking sites as they change.
Can I move from the system I use now?
Yes. We move your rooms, rates and future bookings across for free and come to your property for an onboarding visit. You can also run StayCore beside your current system first.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. Stop when you like, and ask us for an export of your data.
I host on Airbnb but I am not registered with the NTB yet. Can I use StayCore?
Yes, while you register. StayCore gives you a checklist per unit for the NTB application, keeps your documents and fees in one place and reminds you on WhatsApp at each stage. Getting you registered is the first thing we help you do.
